Bride, Pregnant Woman, Died In A Road Accident Along Jega-Sokoto Expressway

A car carrying a bride from Niger State crashed near a village called Alasan, In Tambuwal Local Government of Sokoto State.
The bride died along with a pregnant woman who was sitting together with her in the front seat of the car that was heading to Sokoto State.

According to a Road Safety officer that was in the rescue team that came to the accident scene, he said the driver lost control of the car after he tried to keep clear of a little girl that was crossing the road.

The two women were carried to the general hospital of Tambuwal Local Government for official confirmation of their death or otherwise, and as at the time of compiling this report, Flash News NG is yet to see any official report from the hospital.

President Bola Tinubu has signed the N28.7 trillion 2024 Budget into law. He assented to the 2024 Appropriation Bill at a brief ceremony at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday. Among those with the President while he signed were the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Tajudeen Abbas.
