Ivory coast Trashed Out Of AFCON After 4-0 Defeat By Equatorial Guinea

Host, Ivory Coast of the African Cup Of Nations has been trashed out of the competition after record breaking defeat by Equatorial Guinea.
The host ended 3rd in Group A, which comprises of Nigeria, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea and the host country.

Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria finished the group stage as first and second respectively, with same points but the earlier took advantage of goal difference.

Ivory coast finished as 3rd in the group with 3 points while Guinea Bissau finished at the bottom of the group with zero point.

Nigeria has now qualified into the next stage of the competition.

President Bola Tinubu has signed the N28.7 trillion 2024 Budget into law. He assented to the 2024 Appropriation Bill at a brief ceremony at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday. Among those with the President while he signed were the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Tajudeen Abbas. The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Abubakar; the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, were on hand as well.
